See video of reporter Steve Burton fighting with angry alligator on live TV show

Steve Burton brought on wild animals to his television sport show "Sport Final" last week. These wild animals includes a tarantula, scorpion and alligator. Steve tries to handle one  these animals, before the gator loses it with him. The alligator got angry and started struggling with Steve.

In the video, Burton's holding the gator just fine, but things escalate quickly when he moves to hand it back. The gator starts thrashing and as he's urged to keep hold of the animal he keeps repeating, "I am! I am! I am!"

Ralbovsky told the Huffington Post that the gator was tired of being a TV star. "That clip doesn’t show the whole thing," he said. "It was a segment lasting five or 10 minutes and the gator didn’t want to be held anymore." lool.

VIDEO: Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston's summer romance is over

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston were first pictured together cuddling and kissing each other on a Rhod Island shore on June 12. Rumours been flying around that the pair summer romance and fling is over, but they haven't made an official announcement about the end of their summer romance.
But people cited a source who characterized the breakup rumours as an amicable one.

During their three months together, the couple's frequent and affectionate public outings in the presence of paparazzi led some to speculate that the relationship wasn't real but rather an attempt to gain headlines. "The Avengers" actor set the record straight about that just one month into their courtship.

"Well, um. How best to put this?" Hiddleston said when asked about the veracity of it all by The Hollywood Reporter. "The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy. Thanks for asking... That's the truth. It's not a publicity stunt." Tom said to Hollywood reporter.

Kylie Jenner to reportedly sue a fat-burning company for using a lookalike model on their billboard advert

Kylie Jenner is planning to sue a fat-burning company for deceiving consumers to believe that its product is the key to her curves, according to TMZ report.
TMZ reports that a fat-freezing billboard advert for the company was put up in Los Angeles, California over the weekend and on it is a model that looks a lot like Kylie.

Kylie Jenner has reportedly launched her legal team to have the billboard advert taken down.

Shoreline Wellness Centers and MDS Med Spa, the companies behind the Dr FatOff advert, have hit back to Jenner's claims. Lawyers from the firm have since responded to the allegation with a letter to Jenner's legal team and it clearly states the model on the billboard is actually Cassandra Groscost, 'an employee and daughter of one of the managers of the companies. Cassandra was not used based on any similarity in appearance to Ms. Jenner.'

Ed Meyer, the representative for Dr. FatOff, has also told TMZ that the billboard is staying up.

President Obama nominates Muslim-American as federal judge for the first time in history

Abid Qureshi has been nominated as the first Muslim to serve as  federal judge. The Muslim-American judge was nominated by president Obama as the federal judge for the first time in history of the USA, according to a report from Huffington Post.

Abid Qureshi, a partner at Latham & Watkins in Washington, DC, was nominated to the US District Court for the District of Columbia.

“I am pleased to nominate Mr. Qureshi to serve on the United States District Court bench, and I am confident he will serve the American people with integrity and a steadfast commitment to justice.” President Obama said in a statement.

Senate Republicans have vowed not to hold any hearings on the matter after Obama nominated Judge Merrick Garland to the US Supreme Court in March to replace Justice Antonin Scalia, who died a month earlier.

According to source, Qureshi's nomination comes amid a racially charged presidential election campaign waged by GOP nominee Donald Trump. The real-estate mogul has suggested that a judge of Muslim or Latino descent could be unfit for the job due to his own controversial rhetoric aimed at both groups.

Over the course of his campaign, Trump has repeatedly vowed to keep some Muslims out of the US and subject some immigrants to ideological tests as a prerequisite to entry.

Murder trial of a 21-year-old Kenya girl who stabbed her boyfriend to death resumes to court today

The murder trial of the newly crowned Miss Langata Prison 2016, Ruth Kamande, resumed on Tuesday, September 6th before Justice Jessie Lessit.
22-year-old Ms Kamande, who has been in remand for nearly a year, allegedly stabbed her boyfriend Fareed Mohammed to death on September 19, 2015 in Buruburu estate, Nairobi after she discovered love letters from his ex-lovers. She has since denied stabbing him 22 times.

The deceased's uncle Edward Mwangi Gatonye told the court that Fareed had complained about the accused forcing him to move in with her. Justice Jessie Lessit heard that Ms Kamande, out of desperation to be close to Fareed, relocated to a house in the deceased’s neighbourhood.
"Farid had told me she was forcing him to let her come stay with him" he added.

The witness further testified that he knew about Fareed and Ruth’s relationship two months before the September 19 incident and found it disturbing that she locked herself in the room and only came out to buy lunch, which she served to Farid and herself. Gatonye said that on that fateful day, he had planned to attend a party with Mohammed but could not reach him on the phone.
"I found him at home with Kamande. We used to call her Biggy. When I enquired why his phone was off, Farid told me that she had blocked it. He also told me that she was unhappy because she had found old high school letters from other women, She demanded to know why he still kept the letters" Gatonye told the judge.
The deceased’s sister, Sarah Waithera Mohammed, described the lovers' relationship as "stormy and one-sided. According to her, Fareed and Ruth were not in a romantic relationship as her brother had told the accused that he was not ready to commit. Sarah, who admitted to having lived with Ms Kamande for eight months, further told court that she used to advise the accused not to push for a relationship with Fareed.
"She came to my workplace and introduced herself as my brother's girlfriend. From then on, she would complain to me when they had problems but my brother denied their relationship. One time, I advised her not to force the relationship," Waithera said.

The court further heard that the accused had wanted to go to Lebanon but Sarah convinced her out of the decision. Hearing was postponed to November 25, 2016.

Another Nigerian blogger Iroegbu Emenike was arrested by SSS police department in Akwa Ibom State

Read the statement below.

Our attention has been drawn to the arrest and detention of a 38-year-old blogger and publisher of an online news medium, Abia Facts, Mr. Iroegbu Emenike by the State Security Service (SSS) in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State at about 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
According to the wife of the blogger, Mrs. Ekaette Emenike Iroegbu, the blogger was arrested by three (3) SSS operatives who invaded their Uyo residence in a Gestapo style in a black jeep. The operatives took away the two phones of Mrs. Emenike; the bloggers own phones and laptop, etc. After ransacking their apartment, they whisked the blogger away without disclosing the reason for his arrest and their destination.

Though the Director of SSS, Akwa Ibom State Command, Mr. Adesina informed me at about 9:04 pm on Tuesday, September 6, that he was not aware of the blogger's arrest, the wife of the blogger who went to the SSS office in Uyo has confirmed that her husband is being held by the SSS in Uyo.
Without prejudice to whatever reason may have motivated the arrest and detention of the blogger, it is very worrisome that the fundamental right to freedom of expression guaranteed by Section 39 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) is being eroded at an alarming and unprecedented level since the inception of the current dispensation.

Few examples will suffice.
Emmanuel Ojo, a blogger, was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command on Saturday, September 26, 2015 on the orders of the Ogun State governor over his publication about the governor's wife on Facebook. Blogger Seun Oloketuyi was equally arrested in 2015 over an online publication. Mr. Abubakar Sidiq Usman, a popular blogger and political commentator was arrested and detained recently by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged cyberstalking. Mr. Musa Azare from Bauchi State was also arrested recently by the Nigeria Police Force allegedly on the orders of his state governor over his critical publications on social media

The SSS and other security agencies should resist the emerging capricious proclivities of political office holders to use security agencies to clampdown on Nigerians for exercising their constitutional liberties. Democracy is being threatened in Nigeria by the rising display of intolerance to free speech.
Will the SSS and other security agencies be willing to arrest, detain and prosecute every Nigerian that is accused of making offensive or derogatory publication and statement? The security agencies should not be seen to be massaging the egos of the influential members of the society.

Those who believe that their reputation have been lowered in the eyes of right thinking members of the society should explore the legal option by seeking redress in a court of law.

While we are not yet certain about the person(s) who instigated Emenike's arrest, it is on record that the Abia State born blogger has been constantly harassed by the agents and officials of the Abia State Government over his publications. It is also on record that some government officials in Akwa Ibom State have been uncomfortable with some of his publications online.
We hereby call on the SSS to release Mr. Iroegbu Emenike immediately. Injury to one, is injury to all.

Thank you.
