North Korea Ground Tested New Long Range Rocket Engine

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has overseen a ground test of a new rocket engine and ordered a satellite launch preparation, state media said Tuesday, an indication the country might soon conduct a prohibited long-range rocket launch.

The United Nations and others view the North's space launch development project as a cover for tests of missile technology, as ballistic missiles and rockets in satellite launches share similar bodies, engines and other technology. North Korea is also openly working on developing nuclear-armed missiles capable of striking the U.S. mainland.

Kim directed the ground test of a high-powered engine of a carrier rocket for a geo-stationary satellite at the Sohae Space Center in the country's northwest, according to the official Korean Central News Agency.

Kim was quoted as ordering officials and scientists to complete preparations for a satellite launch as soon as possible, amid "the enemies' harsh sanctions and moves to stifle" the North.

Jeon Ha-kyu, a spokesman at South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff, said South Korea believes the test was for a new engine for a long-range missile. South Korean media speculated the North could conduct a long-range rocket launch around Oct. 10, which is the 71st founding anniversary for the North's ruling Workers' Party.

Earlier this month, North Korea conducted its fifth nuclear test, prompting South Korean and U.S. officials to vow to apply more sanctions and pressure on the North. The test explosion, the most powerful to date, was conducted on the 68th anniversary of the founding of North Korea's government.
I hope North Korea wouldn't shoot at the world, because i can't understand why that small nation with small population is mad at big nations with large population. I hope somebody could talk to that young Kim, because it will only take the world 45 minutes to wipe off the entire North Korea.

Former first lady of Nigeria Patience Jonathan has given EFCC 14 days to defreeze her account, and also apologise publicly

Former First lady of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan, has issued a 14-day ultimatum starting from September 18th to the EFCC to defreeze the $15m found in the accounts of four companies she has links with or face legal action and also told EFCC to apologise publicly for the inconvenience they've caused.

Patience Jonathan last week claimed ownership of the money found in the accounts and said they were meant for her medical bills as well as personal purchase.

According to Vanguard, counsel to Patience Jonathan, First Law Associates, in a letter addressed to the acting chairman of EFCC Ibrahim Magu, asked the antigraft agency to defreeze the accounts and tender a public apology to her and that failing to do this, they will file an action at the African Commission on Human Rights at the Gambia demanding N5 billion in exemplary and punitive damages.” Part of the letter reads
“There is no established legal or political precedent for what the EFCC is currently doing to our client. How many former First Ladies in Nigeria have received the Patience Goodluck Jonathan Treatment (PGJT) to have warranted the EFCC to engage in the effrontery to freeze our client’s accounts and subject her to public opprobrium, ridicule and disgrace? This nonsense must stop forthwith. Our client is a respected senior citizen of international repute, a retired Permanent Secretary and the immediate past First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Our Client is a law-abiding citizen who has never or at all been the subject of any criminal and/or financial investigation, whether at home or abroad. Accordingly, she has not been found guilty of any criminal conduct throughout a sparkling public service career spanning over 35 years. During the 5 years our client served as First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria between May, 2010 and May, 2015; she was the Initiator/Founder of the A. ARUERA WOMEN FOUNDATION as well as the WOMEN FOR CHANGE INITIATIVE; both of which Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) substantially contributed to the 35 per cent affirmative action for women in the country. Our Client is the recipient of numerous local and international awards in recognition of her untiring commitment towards uplifting the living standard of women, children and the aged in Nigeria. Sir, it is against this sterling and meritorious background of our client that we most respectfully, write to draw your attention to the numerous breaches of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) and the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights (Ratification and Enforcement) Act 2004 committed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in cause of the Commission’s illegal and unlawful investigation of our client for alleged money laundering. These investigations have reportedly led to the freeze of our client’s accounts and led to untold consequences to our client’s health and wellbeing. The EFCC must realize that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (Establishment) Act 2004 is inferior in content and quality to both the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (As amended) and the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights, 2004.”

Former U.S President George H. W. Bush to vote for Hillary Clinton

Former America President George H.W. Bush has decided that he'll vote for Democratic party presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in November. According to a report by Politico, the former President told political insiders at a Maine meeting he'll be voting for Hillary.

Kathleen Hartington Kennedy, the former lieutenant governor for Maryland revealed she met with 92-year-old Bush on Monday and he agreed to vote for Hillary.

“The President told me he’s voting for Hillary,” wrote Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy's oldest child, in an apparently private Facebook post obtained by Politico.

A spokesman for George H.W. Bush didn't confirm or deny Bush’s alleged support for Hillary Clinton.

"The vote President Bush will cast as a private citizen in some 50 days will be just that: a private vote cast in some 50 days,” Jim McGrath said in an email to Politico.
“He is not commenting on the presidential race in the interim.”

"This election shouldn't be a close battle but it'll be"- Barack Obama claims sexism is responsible for Trump's rapid poll rise

U.S President Barack Obama has weighed in on the U.S presidential election claiming that the reason why Trump is doing well in the polls is because of the sexist mentality among most Americans, saying if it weren't for sexist beliefs, Trump will be no where near the Democratic candidate..
"There's a reason why we haven't had a woman President," Obama said at a swanky Manhattan fund-raiser dinner for the Democratic nominee. "We as a society still grapple with what it means to see powerful women and it still troubles us in a lot of ways, unfairly."
This should not be a close election but it will be, and the reason it will be is not because of Hillary's flaws," Obama said.

Obama also blasted Trump, calling his campaign "an infomercial."
"It's a reality show, It's an infomercial " he said. 'This guy is not qualified to be president."
Barack also said it would be a "personal insult" to his legacy if black voters don't turn out on Election Day for Hillary Clinton.
