Putin promises confrontation with the U.S. if Hillary Clinton keeps up Russia talk

Russian President, Vladimir Putin has issued a serious threat to Hillary Clinton, saying his country will engage in “confrontation” with the US if she continues to provoke the Motherland, according to a new report.

Putin, 64, accused the Democratic presidential nominee of putting forth continued “harsh rhetoric” and “threats” against Russia for her own political gain, The Daily Star reported.

“Jeopardizing Russian-American relations in order to gain brownie points internally – I consider this to be harmful and counterproductive, Putin recently told reporters in Russia.

“It’s not funny anymore. If somebody out there wants confrontation. This is not our choice but this means that there will be problems,” Putin warned.

The former KGB spy added that Clinton was trying “to distract [American] voters from the country’s problems” by unifying voters against two common enemies – Russia and Iran.

And Putin made no secret over who he favours in the Nov. 8 election.

“Mrs. Clinton has chosen to take up a very aggressive stance against our country, against Russia. Mr. Trump, on the other hand, calls for cooperation – at least when it comes to the international fight against terrorism,” Putin said.

“Naturally we welcome those who would like to cooperate with us. And we consider it wrong, that we always have to be in conflict with one another, creating existential threats for each other and for the whole world,” Putin noted.

Video: Please support oandofoundation to give these innocent children a chance to secure their future- Ewekoro Local government poultry pen school, Itori- Donate today

About Itori Ewekoro Local Government Nursery and Primary School

Located in South-West Nigeria, Ogun is rich in limestone and hosts a bevy of world class manufacturing companies. Despite its shared borders with cosmopolitan Lagos state, Ogun's communities are plagued by extreme poverty as most of its populace live well below $1 a day.

To lend a hand, Oando Foundation (OF) has partnered with the Ogun state government to significantly improve the standard of education within its schools. One such institution, Itori Ewekoro Local Government Nursery and Primary School is an OF’s adopted school, which serves over 1,000 of Africa’s most disadvantaged children and needs our urgent attention.

In the early 2000s, a dual carriage road was constructed to facilitate development in the state. Unfortunately, the road also became a curse to Itori Ewekoro residents: Every day, more than 2,000 children go back and forth across the road, and an average of two pupils have died every quarter as a result of automobile accidents and a lack of necessary traffic regulation (zebra crossings, warning signs, and traffic wardens)

On December 12, 2012 more than ten pupils heading home from school were killed by a speeding lorry. Families were left devastated and a grieving community had lost promising youth.

In January 2013, concerned and affected parents refused to let their children attend school. Enrollment rates dropped drastically in the community, and almost all pupils dropped out of school.

President Buhari full focus on only corruption led to economic recession and suffering in Nigeria

Somebody like President Buhari should be appointed as defence minister, not as Nigeria's president, because he doesn't understand what it takes to be a modern president in modern democracy and in modern world. He is only fit to be a soldier. Nigeria is 56 and i  would say that 97 percent of our present and past leaders are military generals. Some of them were successful in the 60's 70's and early 80's because demand was not really high in Nigeria. But we are now in modern world with the largest population in Africa.

So what do you think it is the problem?

Demand from the citizens is higher than the supply from the government, because the population has increased drastically. What government is supplying is very low to what they have been demanding. Low production in the country has led to low standard of living. We don't have manufacturing companies- Few of them we had many years ago moved their manufacturing companies to neighbouring countries, because of bad government in the country.

Is Buhari a nice man?

Many people think that Buhari is a nice man, he hasn't gone for Jonathan. The only reason he hasn't gone after or didn't go after Jonathan is because he is afraid that it might lead to civil war, militants will give overwhelming response. I am only pissed that many thieves left PDP for APC and suddenly became saints in APC.  Our leader is also corrupt, if he sees thieves who left PDP for APC as saints. I can't even imagine Rotimi Amaechi still not been summon by the EFCC. What a biased way to fight corruption.

Why is our economy in recession?

Our economy is in recession because of the thieves who left PDP for APC and all of them has been appointed into different offices and ministries.

Did we have a change of Government?

No , i don't  think that we have a change of government, because 45 percent of former ruling party 'PDP' members left with stolen money to fund current administration into power.

So, what are we talking about?

We are not going to see any changes, not until we put ban on so many retired military generals still ruling and still thinking that they can still rule democratically. I want you to know that President Buhari would not have accepted defeat, if he was the sitting president defeated in 2015 general election.

What has Buhari done so far?

He hasn't done anything. He doesn't know what to do and how to go about our economy, he messed it up by appointing some foes who doesn't know international economics. President Buhari himself is not educated enough to understand how to handle our economy. His wife said that he doesn't know people holding major offices in the ministries. Nigerians wants you to fight corruption, but the first thing you need to do is to fight poverty by elevating standard of living.

How can you elevate standard of living?

It is by working on the nation's economy. These corrupted politicians are not as millions of people suffering everyday. Nigeria is bigger than politicians, Nigerians are more than corrupted politicians. So, it is better for President Buhari to focus on the economy and how to get out of the economy recession he drags us into and also fight corruption on a low key.

Why would you focus on corruption alone?

His 95 percent focus on corruption has led to economic recession because his main focus is to persecute and prosecute fellow politicians in the opposition party, because he was a former military dictator without good educational background, lack of knowledge in economics, lack of vision to modern world and technology world, he fails to understand the terms 'DEMOCRACY', he doesn't understand what is called human rights. He is still ruling like a soldier. President Buhari appointed thieves, because many of them fought for APC to get to power. We don't need that in Nigeria anymore.

Why should you allow only politicians to occupy ministries ?

You shouldn't appoint people that are not up to task because they are your party members. You should appoint people you know they are capable of bringing out positive results, whether they are politicians or not, because it is only the president that will pay the price after 4 years. Citizens will put blames on you, they are not going to face the ministers, they are going to face you the 'President'.

'Did you believe Dasuki stole billions?' 'I don't believe Dasuki stole $2.2 billion' - Former president Jonathan

While responding to questions after his lecture at Oxford University yesterday, Former President Goodluck Jonathan, said he does not believe Former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, can "steal" $2.2 billion as he is being accused of by the EFCC. Responding to a question on Dasuki, Jonathan said
“They said the National Security Adviser stole $2.2billion. I don’t believe somebody can just steal $2.2 billion. We bought warships, we bought aircraft, we bought lots of weapons for the army and so on and so forth and you are still saying 2.2 billion, so where did we get the money to buy all those things?
Yes, there were some issues. Yes, there are still corruption issues but some of it were over blown. I’d say exaggerated and they give a very bad impression about our nation. You cannot say the national security adviser stole $2.2billion. It is not just possible”.
Dasuki was arrested last year and has been in detention since. He is to be re-arraigned in court on November 16th.

Jonathan also stated that after he signed the anti-same sex marriage law in January 2014, no Nigerian has been discriminated.
