
US Secretary of State, John Kerry will meet President Buhari on August 23rd to Wednesday 24th of August to discuss fight against terrorism, economy, corruption, Niger Delta Avengers and human rights issues. He is also billed to meet 19 Northern state governors.
According to the statement released by the Office of the US embassy in Nigeria says;
“Kerry will meet with President Buhari to discuss counter terrorism efforts, the Nigerian economy, the fight against corruption and human rights issues. In Sokoto, he will deliver a speech on the importance of resilient communities and religious tolerance in countering violent extremism. In Abuja, the Secretary will meet with a group of adolescent girls working to change community perceptions that devalue the role of girls in society."
