Miami Marlins pitcher, Jose Fernandez, was killed after the boat he was riding slammed into a jetty.
Coast Guards found Fernandez' body along with two others early Sunday morning near Miami Beach near the 32-foot vessel, which was overturned.
Two of the bodies were found floating on top of the water, and one was submerged.
The Marlins released a statement saying, "The Miami Marlins organization is devastated by the tragic loss of Jose Fernandez. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at a very difficult time."
Their Sunday afternoon game against the Atlanta Braves has been cancelled out of respect.
