Third case of polio recorded in Borno State, Nigeria

                             
It was only three weeks ago after two fresh cases of Polio disease was recorded in Borno State.A crippled toddler was tested positive in Munguno Borno State, according to World Health Organization.

WHO agency says that activities of Boko Haram in the North East Nigeria  have hampered the effective immunization of children.

Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima last month said the inaccessibility of some of the communities in the state by health workers to administer polio preventive vaccines to children from December 2013 to end of 2015 as well as the earliest part of 2016, opened the state to a re-emergence of the viral disease.
