So, Trump is thinking about how to defund California? It's just like United Kingdom thinking about how to defund London or Nigeria thinking about how to defund Lagos, or UAE thinking about how to defund Dubai or Russia thinking about how to defund Moscow.
These cities aforementioned are major and business/economic cities of those countries. Trump's hates and lacked of knowledge is really effecting him badly and it's going to affect United States badly. How on Earth a president would think of how to defund major city like California large population? I don't think he knows what defund means.
They will stop paying federal tax if he tries to defund the city. So, who is going to lose? federal government are going to lose, not the city.. You can't force them to pay Federal tax after the President might have stopped funding the City. California is a mega city on its own with large Economy.
Something like that happened in Nigeria about 14 years ago when former President Obasanjo stopped funding Lagos, due to political fight between the President and the then Governor of Lagos.
I must tell you that Lagos moved on and even made more money than other 35 states in Nigeria and never complained to the federal government, because the city is the major economic city in Nigeria with about 20 million population.
At the end, the federal government apologised, because they were the one losing , not the State or the city.. The State also stopped paying annual federal tax to the federal government.
I hope he thinks about the outcome of stop funding California.
