Permanent representatives of the United Kingdom and the United States to the United Nations, Matthew Rycroft and Nikki Haley said that the anti-Russian sanctions will apply as long as the Kremlin does not return Ukraine annexed Crimea.
"Our sanctions in connection with the Crimea will be valid as long as Russia does not return control of the peninsula of Ukraine", - said N.Heyli in his first speech to the UN Security Council.
"Sanctions against Russia can not be removed as long as Russia still hold the people of Ukraine from deciding the future of their country." - Said the permanent representative of the United Kingdom to the United Nations, Matthew Rycroft.
But Russia's president, Putin has vowed to never return Crimea peninsula to Ukraine.. He said-"forget it if it's about Crimea, because it will not return to Ukraine."
