Those migrants who risked their lives to Libya in order to cross to Europe illegally are the people who are really suffering, people who have already given up, people who have no hope anymore, people who had no choice.
People who had no food, people who lost their faith in you and Nigerian government. President Buhari, how can someone who doesn't have food to eat improve the economy? How can someone who doesn't have any single job to feed and take care of the family improve the economy?
How can someone who doesn't have access to education, clean water, proper healthcare system, stable electricity, food, shelter improve the economy? How can someone who doesn't have a single penny to start up a small business improve the economy? How can someone who doesn't have a home or a shelter, water, light or electricity improve the economy? How can someone who is totally suffering improve the economy.? How can someone who is totally broke improve the economy.
President Buhari, an hungry man is a mad man. President Buhari, that pieces of advice "stay at home and improve the economy" is for those people who stole from government, hid the money abroad. Stay at home and improve the economy is for those unscrupulous politicians who sent their families abroad to live there permanently, pay thousands of dollars for their welfares, education, accommodation and so on.
Those people are investing and improving those countries economy. Stay at home and improve the economy is for those who have money to invest abroad, instead of investing at home. Stay at home and improve the economy is for those who have made it already, is for those who are fortunate to get good jobs, is for those people who have jobs and business, is for those who are fortunate to provide for their needs, is for those who are making it, is for those who think they have future in Nigeria with Nigeria.
So, president Buhari, please direct that pieces of advice to those successful people aforementioned above, because they are the people who can actually contribute to the countries economy positively, they are the people who can improve the country's economy.
That advice is not for those penury people who just returned from Libya. Not for those illegal migrants who just returned from Libya. Not for those people who have already given up, who lost hope. Those migrants who just returned from Libya do not need that kind of advice from you for now, all they need from you is to rebuild them, give them the confidence back by giving them jobs, welfares and shelters, education and all other basic amenities.
Do something positive with their lives. That's when they will stay home and improve the country's economy, because that pieces of advice is not food or something that will give them money to do something good with their lives.
